John Galliano's resume is pretty legendary — he's been the creative director at Givenchy, Dior, Oscar de la Renta and Maison Margiela. But after a decade at Margiela, it looks like he's ready to change things up and bring his creative direction to another luxury fashion house.

Galliano's work at Margiela has been nothing short of spectacular. The latest haute couture collection in January took social media by a storm, stunning audiences both in-person and online, which added to surge in the popularity of "Tabi" shoes.

So, the question on everyone's mind is: where is Galliano heading? Several fashion sources in the industry have reported that Galliano is ready for a change. It is reported Maison Margiela owner Renzo Rosso, has made numerous appeals for him to stay, but the current creative director is said to have decided not to renew his contract.

Although there are rumors that John Galliano might return to Dior, some believe that taking the helm at Fendi is more likely, run by Kim Jones and Silvia Venturini Fendi. While Jones has been praised for his work at Dior Men, his time at Fendi has received mixed reviews, possibly opening the door for Galliano's arrival.

Chanel is also seeking a new creative lead, but it's unlikely the creative director of Margiela will be considered due to his past antisemitism conviction and the house's association with a prominent Jewish family.
