Absolut Calls on All the London Hunnies to Celebrate New Flavored Vodka Launch

Earlier this month, Absolut revealed the latest addition to its vodka spirits portfolio, Absolut Hunni. As its name suggests, the new drink boasts a rich honey flavor elevated with subtle hints of spice, vanilla and cacao, providing a sweet-tasting alternative to fruity spirits.

Giving Absolut Hunni the bold welcome it deserves, the brand took over The Standard in London to host a show-stopping launch party on the first bank holiday in May – which it renamed "Bank Hunni Day" – with artists, models, and culinary experts in attendance. For one night only, the venue was transformed into a “Hunni Hive,” seeing walls decked out in glittering gold hues and inspired neon lighting. At the bar, Absolut Hunni took center stage against a honeycomb backdrop, as mixologists served up Hunni Lemon Drop Martinis, Hunni Lemonades, and a twist on a classic, with Hunni Espresso Martinis.

Similar to past Absolut events, the night kicked off with music from local DJs, this time the brand enlisted Foundation FM DJs Tara Kumar, Vanessa Maria, and Kunteaa to spin tracks as guests got a taste for the new drink. Once they were warmed up, ‘90s girl group and sweethearts of the pop scene Sugababes sang their top hits in an acoustic set before joining fans to experience the unique menu of cocktails on offer. With the London hunnis mixing and mingling, the event shone light on Absolut’s mantra of “Born to Mix”, bringing new people together over a shared passion for drinks.
