PUMA Debuts Speedcat Ballerinas at Copenhagen Fashion Week
info@hypebae.com (Hypebae) Mon, 27 Jan 2025 HypebaeFashion Week has long become a perfect place to tease new products and collaborations and unsurprisingly, the Fall/Winter 2025 season is living up to its reputation. Fresh off the back of men's showcases in Milan and Paris, we're turning our attention to Copenhagen Fashion Week, beginning with OperaSPORT.
The first on-schedule show of the season featured a slew of feminine silhouettes and classic pieces, accessorized by some flashy footwear courtesy of PUMA. Off the back of the Speedcat's insurmountable success (it was the shoe of 2024, after all) the brand is back with a new iteration, dubbed the Speedcat Ballerina.
In line with popular team-ups from Sandy Liang and Salomon and Cecilie Bahnsen and ASICS, the new hybrid blends sportswear sneakers with a traditionally feminine silhouette, opting for sport-inspired details with a delicate twist. The current offering was spotted in two colorways: one white and silver iteration and one black and white. Crafted with a subtle Speedcat base, the shoes feature multiple elastic straps over the top alongside a tonal PUMA logo on each side.
Take a look at the new-and-improved Speedcat above and stay tuned for official release info.
