KNWLS Looks to the '90s for SS22 Collection

Marking the second collection under their rebranded label KNWLS, Charlotte Knowles and Alexandre Aresnault looked to '90s nostalgia for their Spring/Summer 2022 collection revealed at London Fashion Week.
Celebrating their return to the runway, the duo expanded on their signature bustiers, incorporating the design into an array of dresses, tops and bodysuits dressed in earthy tones. Adding to the nostalgic feel, outfits were complete with low-rise flared pants made out of sheer mesh fabrics. Skirts were complete with asymmetrical silhouettes while check prints were splashed across shorts and tops.
The looks were accessorized with patterned headscarves and cowboy hats, along with hits of hot pink on shoes and handbags. Additional standouts include light blue denim jeans, as well as ribbed knit panel detailing on bomber jackets. To further highlight the '90s influence, KNWLS tapped jeweler Marco Panconesi to design hoop earrings and colorful bracelets while Andy Wolf created three futuristic eyewear pieces for the runway.
