Closing New York Fashion Week, Thom Browne delivered a dramatic and eye-catching runway once again for the Spring/Summer 2022 season.

Set in a garden-themed space, the presentation opened with models in horse-shaped headpieces, cycling down the runway in Browne's classic suits. Meanwhile, two models stood at the center of the stage as a voiceover narrated a story of two bachelors.

Browne returned to New York to showcase his collection for the SS22 season to support the upcoming  "In America: A Lexicon of Fashion" exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. A nod to American fashion, a mix of womenswear and menswear designs took the stage with reworked versions of the traditional gray suits. Single-breasted jackets were paired with mini skirts, while trompe l'oeil detailing took over sleeveless dresses.

HYPEBAE went backstage to capture some of the best fashion and beauty moments of the show. The garments were accentuated with light paint strokes across the face, along with flower-themed makeup in black, gray and white. Elsewhere, models donned hair buns woven with pieces of fabric.
