Issa Rae Marries Louis Diame at a Private Ceremony in France

Issa Rae is married. The Insecure star tied the knot with her longtime partner, Louis Diame, at an intimate ceremony in the South of France.
Rae, notoriously tight-lipped about her relationship with Diame, took to Instagram to announce the news. The actor posted a slideshow of wedding photos including shots of her custom Vera Wang gown, the bridal party and a heart-warming image of her and Diame in front of a picturesque chateau. "Impromptu photo shoot in a custom @verawang dress," she wrote in a facetious caption. "My girls came to help me, but they all coincidentally had on the same dress! They were sooooo embarrassed."
According to Elle, Rae and Diame's relationship dates back to at least 2012. In March 2019, Rae appeared on the cover of Essence wearing an impressive ring, fueling speculation that she was engaged. Later that month, two of her Insecure co-stars confirmed the engagement.
