Pierpaolo Piccioli invited guests to Venice, Italy for Valentino's latest couture presentation. Models donned a range of colorful looks on the runway, contrasting the audience dressed in all-white.

Comprised of 84 outfits spanning women's and menswear, the collection opened with a bold red feather hat paired with a balloon-shaped number in a similar hue. Celebrating the garments as a form of art, Piccioli worked with 17 painters such as Wu Rui and Andrea Respino with curation by Gianluigi Ricuperati. The collaborations were spotted on designs like dresses and coats highlighted with colorful collages. Elsewhere, a gown was made using 88 textiles, taking 680 hours to finish, as shared by Vogue. "Painting is to art as haute couture is to fashion, being both languages eternal and material," the house wrote of the collection.

Contrasting the diverse color palette of purples, greens, blues and reds were sequined pieces arriving in the form of cardigans, cashmere capes, T-shirts and more. Following up with dramatic ballgown silhouettes, Piccioli closed the show with a dress and cape made using 107 meters of fabric.
