Phoebe Philo Is Launching Her Own Fashion Label

Phoebe Philo, the former CELINE designer known for her cult following, is launching her very own eponymous fashion label backed by LVMH.
The news follows rumors that surfaced last year. Now, it has been confirmed that the brand will launch with a focus on clothing and accessories. Industry insiders shared that the creative has been working with a small team in London for almost a year.
"Being in my studio and making once again has been both exciting and incredibly fulfilling. I am very much looking forward to being back in touch with my audience and people everywhere. To be independent, to govern and experiment on my own terms is hugely significant to me," Philo shared in a statement, WWD reports.
Philo has had a significant impact on the fashion world. Joining CELINE in 2009, the revered designer marked some of the most iconic moments in fashion history with Juergen Teller-shot campaigns while designing it-bags such as the Luggage Tote. After her departure in 2017, fans created an Instagram account @oldceline solely dedicated to her time at the fashion house.
