LVMH has revealed the finalists for its 2021 Prize, a prestigious award that will see one winner receive a yearlong mentorship with the luxury conglomerate. Breaking with tradition, LVMH has selected nine finalists, instead of the usual eight, to present collections to a soon-to-be-announced jury.

This year's finalists include New York-based designer Christopher John Rogers, who dressed Kamala Harris in a striking purple coat for the inauguration, and Nensi Dojaka, whose sheer, sensual pieces have been worn by Bella Hadid and Adwoa Aboah. Also chosen are British menswear designer Bianca Saunders and Rui Zhou, the mind behind Dua Lipa's Rolling Stone cover look. Remaining finalists include Colm Dillane of KidSuper, Charles de Vilmorin, Conner IvesLukhanyo Mdingi and Kika Vargas. Delphine Arnault, founder of the LVMH Prize, specified in a press release that the nine finalists were selected in part for their "great know-how and their strong environmental awareness."

The LVMH Prize final will be held in September at the Louis Vuitton Foundation. Stay tuned.
