Louis Vuitton Names BTS Global Brand Ambassadors

Shortly after the K-pop group's unexpected collaboration with McDonald's, BTS has now been named the House ambassadors of Louis Vuitton. The announcement comes after the HYBE-led band wore designs from the fashion brand for red carpet appearances.
"I am delighted BTS are joining Louis Vuitton today. I am looking forward to this wonderful partnership, which adds a modern chapter to the House, merging luxury and contemporary culture. I can’t wait to share all the very exciting projects we are working on," Virgil Abloh commented in a press release. BTS added: "Becoming global brand ambassadors for Louis Vuitton is a truly exciting moment for us." This marks the first global fashion deal for BTS, aside from their partnerships with companies like Samsung and Hyundai Motors.
With the rise in K-pop, more luxury fashion houses have been tapping Korean musicians as their brand ambassadors. Notable announcements in recent months include BLACKPINK member Rosé's team-up with Tiffany & Co., as well as Jisoo for Dior.
