Emily Ratajkowski has just been named Miss self-portrait 2024, appearing in the brand's latest campaign. Inspired by the idea of celebrating women, the new campaign plays on the concept of the American beauty pageant, capturing Ratajkowski's crowning moment.

"When I was thinking of the name for my brand, I wanted to find a name that made sense globally, and that had the power to bring an emotion straight away. 'self-portrait' is a very personal and nuanced name -- no person sees themselves as one think. We evolve constantly, we have so many facets, we go through so many emotions on a daily basis. This sentiment has become the heartbeat of the brand -- the idea that I can design for women to feel like themselves and be comfortable in their own skin," explains founder Han Chong.

Capturing Ratajowski through a series of candid portraits and videos, the campaign was lensed by photographer Tina Barney, known for her unique lens on intimate moments. The launch of the campaign marks the second time that the model has teamed up with self-portrait and this time, spotlights new season silhouettes like the Silver Rhinestone Fishnet Maxi Dress and Blue Soft Knit Top and skirt.

Chong notes the inspiration behind the campaign: "I wanted to play on this idea of celebrating women, and highlighting the joy in owning your personality and beauty - this is our heightened version of feeling empowered in any situation. Working with Tina Barney, a photographer renowned for capturing intimate portraits of real-life splendor and tradition with sensitivity was a true privilege and I knew she would be the perfect woman to shoot Emily in all her crowning glory, as the ultimate Miss self-portrait."
