Stella McCartney's Summer 2025 runway show was held during Paris Fashion Week, presenting the new collection to a star-studded audience of celebrities, fashion fans and friends of the brand. Led by a "Save What You Love" manifesto, narrated by Helen Mirren, the show acted as a call to action for birds, inspired by author and birdwatcher Jonathan Franzen and his book, The End of the End of the Earth.

Attended by celebrities like Hayley Williams and Jameela Jamil, the showcase took inspiration from "power, sensuality and sport" through the use of tactile fabrics and exaggerated embellishment. Power suits took center stage, paired with this season's focus accessory: the Stella Ryder. Inspired by McCartney's favorite animal, the bag's curved shape mirrors that of a horse's back.

Interestingly, this season's collection was styled by Heidi Bivens, costume designer for the ever-iconic HBO series, Euphoria, which seemingly gave SS25 an extra hit of liberation and sensuality.

WHO: Tom Daley, Hayley Williams, Cole Sprouse, Lukas Gage, Greta Gerwig, Paris Jackson, Jameela Jamil and more showed up and showed out for Stella McCartney this morning in Paris. Meanwhile, it-girls of the moment Amelia Gray and Alex Consani walked the runway.

WHERE: On the penultimate day of PFW, Stella brought fashion fans to the market area on Avenue de Saxe for an early morning show, echoing the location of her sustainable market showcase from SS24.

SEE: It's early to say, but this may have been Stella McCartney's best collection yet. Presenting a masterclass in tailoring, sculpture and design, SS25 favored voluminous shapes, ball-like dresses and exaggerated embellishment. Featuring classic styles like graphic tanks and vegan leather trousers, the collection offered a mixture of minimal and maximal, fusing signature white suits with heavily embellished bra tops and sheer lace bodysuits.

TOUCH: Fluffy tulle featured in more than a few of this season's dresses, along with silver fringed beading, flowing draped fabrics, sheer lace, crinkled silk and denim embellished with lead-free crystals. Glitz and glamor was the name of the game for SS25, adding sparkly tactile detailing to classic silhouettes.

HEAR: A pumping soundtrack of familiar tunes was played during the show, featuring big hitters like "When Doves Cry" by Prince.

TASTE: Oversized silhouettes aren't just for casual dressers anymore. Enormous mini-dresses, crystal embellishment and tulle crop tops are soon to become SS25 wardrobe mainstays.
