Simply put, the Courrèges Spring/Summer 2025 collection was a minimalist's dream. Thriving on subtle, subversive details with sharp, clean-cut lines and bold asymmetry, the brand gave each piece a striking edge. Creative director, Nicolas Di Felice masterfully upheld the futuristic '60s aesthetic that the brand's founder, André Courrèges, famously pioneered, while seamlessly blending it with his own refined take on minimalism. The result of the SS25 show was a modern fusion where the sleek, space-age spirit of the brand's archive was reimagined with a fresh sensuality that spoke to the bold confidence of the 21st century.

HEAR: As the first model stepped onto the runway, the soothing sound of waves generated by the moving metal beads created a serene atmosphere. However, this moment was soon eclipsed by a pulsating remix of Underworld's renowned track "Born Slippy," injecting a bass line into the show.

TOUCH: Expect a luxurious selection of creamy, soft-to-the-touch leathers that offer both comfort and elegance. Plus, shiny silks, translucent sheer fabrics and neat suiting to provide a sophisticated and contemporary finish.

TASTE: Tights over heels have made a splash in recent footwear trends but Courrèges took an innovative approach by styling pants draped over the back of the heel. The shoes themselves featured a unique design, with straps angled upward, creating the illusion of a cuff wrapping around the heel.
