Alaïa just dropped its new Winter Spring 2024 collection, paying tribute to the humble selfie. Described as "a spontaneous gesture of instant beauty," the ritual act of taking a selfie inspires the new collection which fuses new fabrics, curated shapes and sharp lines with Alaïa signatures.
Acting as an "ode to women" and the art of creation, WS24 features a range of elegant gowns and dresses, crafted with sheer fabrics (one of the major trends from 2023) and unusual materials. Arriving in a classic color palette of black, nude and pink, the collection features hits of vibrancy through transparent yellows, baby blues and bold reds.
Drawing inspiration from the brand's own heritage and its longstanding appreciation for craft, the collection aims to merge sensuality with tactility, resulting in delicate details, shiny outerwear and latex-style fabrications.
