Alongside campaigns from fashion brands starring our favorite celebs and influencers, it's the photographers themselves that provide endless amounts of inspiration -- both in a fashion sense and for our own creative direction. Whether it's their signature aesthetic style and color palette, subject matter or the roster of brands they work with, there's plenty of inspiration to be found on the Instagram pages and websites of these creative visionaries, so if you don't already, it's time to click that follow button.

To help make things a little bit easier, we've rounded up some of the coolest photographers in the space right now, known for working with our favorite brands and talents. From established names like Petra Collins and Carlijn Jacobs to more emerging talents like Misha Meghna and Ottilie Landmark, our current list explores a wide range of truly visionary women who seek to create, empower and redefine fashion photography for a new generation.

Nadia Lee Cohen

Nadia Lee Cohen is known for her distinctly feminine lens within her work, joining forces with brands like PARIS TEXAS, Miu Miu and Saint Laurent. Perhaps most notably, Cohen recently shot SKIMS founder Kim Kardashian for the cover of CR Fashion Book, transforming her into an almost unrecognizable vision. Alongside Kim K, Cohen has shot the likes of Lana Del Rey, Bella Hadid and Richie Shazam, and released her own photography book, Women.

Long-term collaborator of Heaven by Marc Jacobs, photographer Harley Weir has worked with the likes of self-portrait, AMBUSH and Charlotte Knowles. She's also the photographer responsible for capturing Stella McCartney's recent Winter 2023 campaign, which saw a naked Kendall Jenner gracefully placed atop a real-life horse. Her saturated, surrealist style separates her from the rest, with a distinct focus on vivid color and clashing patterns and textures a key part of her visual aesthetic.

Petra Collins

Petra Collins is pretty much fashion royalty at this point, having worked with everyone from Pamela Anderson and Gucci, to BIMBA Y LOLA and Levi's. Her style feels a little more glamorous than most, but with a grainy, space-age twist and a touch of fairycore. With a similar visual style to that of '90s horror films, her retro shots make her the perfect collaborator for Y2K-inspired brands like Blumarine. Outside of fashion, she's got a hefty CV within the world of music, working with names like Olivia Rodrigo and Pinkpantheress.

Ottilie Landmark

Rising Danish photographer Ottilie Landmark is best known for her work with fashion's most inclusive designer, aka Sinead O'Dwyer. Landmark captured the designer's recent Spring/Summer 2023 campaign, spotlighting model Alva Claire. Her inclusive approach to photography lends itself to empowering visuals, highlighting the power of queerness through rich hues and experimental poses.

Cass Bird has captured a slew of fashionable it girls, from Gigi Hadid and Kylie Jenner to Margot Robbie and Hailey Bieber. Carlijn Jacobs

Having worked with brands like Acne Studios, Versace and Prada, Dutch photographer Carlijn Jacobs has become known for her surrealist aesthetic, frequently mixing art with fashion in typically unconventional ways.
