PETA Protestors Crash Coach's SS24 Show

Last night, Coach got New York Fashion Week off to an unforgettable start as protestors interrupted the brand's Spring/Summer 2024 show.

Because leather is a staple for the label, PETA activists took the opportunity to inform attendees of the animal cruelty involved in producing Coach's garments. One woman made her voice heard with full body paint, mimicking the appearance of flesh, muscles and sinew, while her companion walked behind her with a sign, reading "Coach Leather Kills." The protestors were escorted out rather quickly, although the paint-covered activist was able to make it past the first few rows where presumably walking past J Lo and Flo Milli as they were seated front row.

This is not the first time that fashion week has been the grounds for protest as the week-long event usually leads to conversations around sustainability and mass consumption. Watch protestors crash Coach's SS24 show below.
