Academy Award-winning costume designer Jacqueline Durran (aka the woman responsible for the incredible wardrobe of Greta Gerwig's Barbie) just launched her very own online thrift store, in partnership with resale platform thredUP.

Aiming to provide a sustainable alternative for fans of Barbiecore, the new shop utilizes Durran's signature aesthetic and thredUP's thrift shopping expertise to create a curated selection of products that every Barbie will love. Comprising almost 300 items, the Barbiecore Dream Shop offers pieces for every budget, including brands like Marc Jacobs, Versace, Gucci and Chanel.

"As a former vintage seller and designer known for period pieces, I'm passionate about reimagining the old and turning it into something entirely new," begins Durran in a press release. "That's why I am so excited to bring my fans a 100% secondhand #Barbiecore collection with thredUP," she continues.

"I had no idea my styles would blow up as much as they have in the past year, and it's amazing to see how resale platforms like thredUP offer countless options that match my aesthetic. I can't wait for shoppers to get their hands on my thrifted picks, and I hope this shop inspires them to experiment with the trend sustainably!"

Alongside Durran's selection of items, shoppers can also access even more Barbiecore styles through thredUp's Shop Similar feature, which uses AI technology to offer alternative picks for sold-out items.
