Meet the Designer Behind BLACKPINK's New 'Born Pink' Tour Merch

Back in 2022, Verdy and BLACKPINK teased a collaboration of BORN PINK tour merchandise, leaving fans to wonder when they might be able to get their hands on some.

Well, it appears that the time is now, as the lauded designer has officially been named Creative Director of the K-pop group's continuing tour. Reportedly, Verdy has designed an exclusive collection of merch to commemorate the next leg of the group's almost year-long run of shows.

Looking back at the designer's previous works for his Tokyo-based label, Girls Don't Cry, alongside Wasted Youth, it's likely that his BLACKPINK designs will feature cartoon-inspired designs, particularly as the press image for his announcement pictures a cartoonized version of KRUNK, aka the mascot of BLACKPINK's label, YG Entertainment.

Little else is known about what the collection will look like, but it appears that fans attending the next leg of BORN PINK will find out pretty soon.
