Cecilie Bahnsen x MACKINTOSH Rework Old Archive Fabrics for Latest Collaboration

Having teamed up back in October 2020 for an outerwear collection, Cecilie Bahnsen and MACKINTOSH have joined forces once again to create collaborative dresses and coats. The capsule range blends utility with the Danish designer's signature style in monochrome looks.
"This season we didn’t have a mood board or a theme. The design and the fabric techniques came from inside me, spontaneous and honest. I was pregnant, it was lockdown, a very challenging and unique time. But it focused me to think about the now, the here, what we do as a brand, how we work," Bahnsen shares the inspiration behind the collaboration.
Just like the previous team-up, the collection includes a coat-and-dress hybrid that comes with sleeveless options. Using sustainable upcycling methods, each design is made out of old fabrics from Bahnsen's archive. The tonal pieces feature patchwork quilting throughout with floral cutting details at the collars and hem.
