ARKET Launches Sustainable Patchwork Denim Items

H&M-owned label ARKET is continuing its sustainability initiative with a range of newly launched denim. The responsibly-made pieces use vintage fabrics sourced through the brand's joint recycling program with I:Collect.

Designed for women and children, the collection features jackets, jeans, a skirt, bucket hat and tote bag. Each longevity-focused piece is constructed using denim patches with various washes to create a three-dimensional look. The reclaimed fabrics are cut and sewn together after being washed to complete an irregular pattern, making every garment one-of-a-kind.

The Patchwork Denim range serves as an extension of ARKET's sustainability goals, which involve upcycling technologies using REFIBRA™ and Texloop™ yarns. By recycling deadstock fabrics, the label continues to create designs that make up a more circular product life cycle.

Take a closer look down below. ARKET's Patchwork Denim series is now available online and in stores.
