I’m Planning My Spring Outfits—Here Are The Coolest Finds of The Season

Indya Brown  Sat, 20 Feb 2021  Who What Wear

We may be at the tail end of winter, but my mind is already enjoying the sunshine in a field of flowers. Yes, I'm already thinking about spring, and with that have also started to mentally map out all of my future warm-weather looks. Call it jumping the gun, but just know that once the snow officially melts, I'll be ready. I can already think of a few styles that will be first in line to add to my spring wardrobe, including lots of loose-fitting pants, elevated sweatsuits, and breezy dresses. More dramatic trends like floss tops and bubblegum pink hues will also get some space in my closet, but for the most part, affordable, elevated basics are what I'm searching for the most. As an editor, I'm already privy to a lot of the latest styles that are hitting the web, but there are a few pieces I keep coming back to; In the interest of sharing, I'm presenting some of the coolest spring finds I've come across thus far. Everything here is budget-friendly too, so you don't have to tap into your savings to get ahead on your spring shopping. Keep scrolling to see them all.

Transitional dressing is really the key to spring style. For cold days I can wear this dress with leather over-the-knee boots, and once it heats up pair it with sandals.

I'm really gravitating towards midi lengths to avoid freezing legs during unexpectedly cool spring nights.  This one is available in three neutral colorways so you can choose depending on your mood.

We can't talk about spring outfits without mentioning a sweatsuit. I love the added twist of shoulder ruffles on this one; it creates a sophisticated look that's simple to coordinate with fancier footwear like tall heeled boots. I'm ready to buy this set in black and cream to cover all of my styling bases.

Great jeans are imperative for any spring closet. The added dimension of the acid wash is really eye-catching.

I'm already envisioning an outfit with these jeans and a beautiful second-skin floral top. The silhouette feels super polished.

If you haven't heard about the "party pants" trend, here's an explainer. Dramatic printed pants may not be in my immediate future (I'm building my styling confidence to get there), but bright-colored pants like these can fill the void in the meantime.

However, if you're more fearless unlike me, here's a pair that already has caught my attention.

The matching polka-dot top is already sitting in my cart.

Dreamy prarie dresses like this are usually double the price so I'm jumping on this now before it sells out.

I plan on wearing this with leather pants and white canvas sneakers.

Matching sets create big visual impact with minimal styling effort so you can be sure I have a few on my spring mood board. I also can't get over this beautiful lemon yellow color.

Or forgo the matching top and wear these shorts with a white tank and a stack of gold necklaces–it's a winning look.
