Eckhaus Latta's SS21 Campaign Features Cozy Knitwear and Hand-Sewn Dresses

Last year, Eckhaus Latta debuted its Spring/Summer 2021 collection during New York Fashion Week. Now, the New York- and Los Angeles-based label has revealed its SS21 campaign lensed by Talia Chetrit.
Keeping comfort in mind, designers Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta's latest pieces arrive in cozy silhouettes incorporated with rich colors and intricate patterns. The campaign stars two pre-teens showcasing the brand's garments such as hoodies, printed knitwear and hand-sewn dresses, which are crafted from crocheted remnants of doilies and various velvet burnout dresses. Eckhaus and Latta decided to tap 13-year-old cousins Ever and Liam in order to "display the tensions of leaving childhood" as well as "convey the mundanity and ordinariness of an idle, post-adolescent life where one has nothing to do," as per a press release.
