Zerina Akers Officially Launches Black Owned Everything, E-Commerce Platform and Content Hub

Black Owned Everything, a platform founded by celebrity stylist Zerina Akers, has officially launched today as an online marketplace and a cultural media hub.
Originally introduced as a Instagram directory of Black-owned businesses last summer, Black Owned Everything advances into its next chapter with the formal launch of its e-commerce site. Built on tenets of inclusivity, diversity, community and empowerment, BOE champions Black-owned brands in categories ranging from fashion and beauty, to design and lifestyle, giving visibility to these businesses and supporting their growth in global reach. With over 30 brands currently available on the website, including Fe Noel, William Okpo and handbag label Blackwood NYC among others, BOE will also serve as "a content hub for creators to virtually connect," according to a press release.
On what she is most excited about the launch, Akers tells HYPEBAE, "My favorite part about launching BOE is the feeling of bringing the Black community together, the pride of sharing our work, uplifting and supporting all of the amazing Black creators out there and giving them a platform to showcase their talents."
