More Details of Real-Life Howl's Moving Castle Revealed

Governor Hideaki Omura of Aichi Prefecture, where Ghibli Park will be located, tweeted a CGI rendering of the Howl's Moving Castle installation. According to Omura, the replica of the film's anthropomorphic castle will stand at 52 feet high -- about the height of a four-story building -- and feature rotating canons for eyeballs. Inside, visitors will find real-life versions of the castle's rooms, including Howl's bedroom. The governor also shared a preliminary rendering of Ghibli Park's recreation of Irontown, the factory and outcast settlement from Princess Mononoke.
