Puerto Rican musician Bad Bunny releases his highly anticipated album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOTos -- translation, I Should Have Taken More Pictures.

Released January 5, the album is the Grammy winner's sixth studio project. "I've been dreaming about this album for years," Bad Bunny said. "And seeing it come to life has brought me immense happiness. I've always been honest with my followers, and through this new production, they'll continue to learn more about me as I, too, discover more about myself."

He continues, "This album is the result of the experiences that have led me to get to know myself better, even getting to know the rhythms I enjoy most—the ones I truly enjoy singing and creating I am Puerto. Rican, I am Caribbean, and my music, my culture, my country's history run through my veins, from plena to reggaeton. At the peak of my career and popularity, I want to show the world who I am, who BENITO ANTONIO is and who PUERTO RICO is."

The 17-track production is deeply rooted in música jíbara, Puerto Rican folk music. The style of music is "a staple of many Puerto Ricans' upbringing on the island," the press release states, and is "deeply woven into the fabric of daily life and culture."

The news releases with a fresh single, "Pitorro De Coco" and a teaser video. Seemingly playing on mockery and spelling, the teaser introduces the rapper's latest character, Concho, with whom he reflects on life. "I should have lived more," he says. "I should have loved more while I could. While you’re alive, one should love as much as they can." The video is directed by iconic Puerto Rican director, Jacobo Morales. The cover art features Bad Bunny himself, warped just like the album's title.

The project also taps Puerto Rican talent, featuring artists like Chuwi, Dei V, Omar Courtz, Pleneros de la Cresta and RaiNao.

Those keeping an eye on the star should know music isn't the only plan he has in store for 2025. Next year, the star will solidify his reign in the U.S. with an appearance in Happy Gilmore 2 with Adam Sandler.

In other news, here are the most hyped albums releasing this year.
