Jane Fonda’s Back – And She’s Bringing Retro Fitness With Her in a Futuristic Way
info@hypebae.com (Hypebae) Thu, 19 Dec 2024 HypebaeThe iconic Jane Fonda is making her long-awaited return to fitness, this time in a collaboration with Meta Quest's Supernatural platform. She's launching a four-part, '80s-inspired workout series that allows you to get fit from the comfort of your living room — all with the assistance of virtual reality. After a 40-year break from the world of exercise, Fonda has taken the creative lead on this project, selecting everything from the music to the choreography.
Her series offers a range of dynamic classes, including the nostalgic "Flow With Fonda," a tribute to the videos that made her a household name. In another standout, "Box With Jane Fonda and Ludacris," you'll join the Emmy-winning actress and the Grammy-winning rapper for energizing boxing set to '90s and early 2000s hip-hop. For a cool-down, you can share a guided stretch with Fonda to help you unwind and if you're looking for some fun, there's also a team dance workout that lets you connect with friends across the platform.
Supernatural's extensive library of VR experiences offers thousands of options designed to keep you motivated and engaged, whether you're in the mood for high-intensity cardio, boxing or a calming meditation. You can tailor each one to your preferred difficulty level, with expert coaches to guide you through every step — it's all just a headset away.
