In an exclusive released by PEOPLE, a source confirms the suspicions: Model Gisele Bündchen is expecting her first child with Jiu-Jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. "Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they're looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family," the source told the publication.
Bündchen and Valente first sparked dating rumors in 2022 after the supermodel was spotted vacationing in Costa Rica with her children. At the time, they frolicked in the water and smiled ear to ear as they enjoyed the moment overseas. The trip went viral as it followed the Brazilian's divorce from NFL player Tom Brady, who called it quits after Brady chose career over love.

Earlier this year, Bündchen shared an Instagram post detailing how learning self-defense from the Valente brothers has changed her life. "I believe the more tools we have in our toolbox the better. I feel stronger, more confident and empowered since I started practicing self-defense," she captioned the video. "I feel it’s an important skill for all, but especially for us women... I am looking forward to improving." She and Valente also posed for Dust Magazine together, which strengthened suspicions.
