The Girls Can’t Get Enough of Karma From 'Love Is Blind: Habibi'

In the first season of Netflix's Love Is Blind: Habibi, cast member Karma Ben Messaoud is the first to receive a proposal. And what she does with it is beyond iconic.

"I'm looking for a life partner who loves people, embraces life and appreciates everything," the Dubai-based cast member said in her initial interview. With a passion for dance and business, Messaoud made her intentions clear.

When she met Ammar in the pods, the pair hit it off, bonding over music and more. But Ammar quickly ruined his chances after -- attempting to -- forbid Karma from dancing. "When I tell you I don’t like something you’re supposed to say 'Okay,'" he told her. To his surprise, she soon ended the engagement.

"I decided, we shouldn't be together. Because I choose to dance, choose art and I choose my life honestly," she said. "As a woman and as a human being, God created me to be free. Because if you can live in your truth and love your soul, love will be everywhere."
