This summer, the streets of Soho are in for a magical makeover as Hourglass Cosmetics heads to New York City to host The Unreal Pop-Up Shop, celebrating the beauty brand’s latest blush innovation the Unreal Liquid Blush. An exclusive event unlike any other, pops of pink will take over the pop-up as part of the artistic collaboration between Hourglass and renowned visual artist Andrés Reisigner.
Sought after for his surrealist approach to art, the Argentinian artist draws inspiration from the innovative blush and its romantic hues to reimagine the Unreal Liquid Blush with a striking art installation featuring his signature pink drapes. The colorway takes cues from Reisinger’s viral “Take Over” digital series that spotlights his trademark pink-hued aesthetic – as seen on legendary architectural landmarks worldwide and now the bustling corners of the Prince and Elizabeth streets in soho.
From July 12 to July 14, beauty buffs will get the opportunity to immerse themselves into Hourglass’ surreal pink world and get a front row seat to the luxury brand’s successful attempt at breaking boundaries in the beauty industry.
With the limited-time art installation, guests will discover the cutting-edge product and the ways in which Hourglass sets itself apart from its peers in the space by bringing the digital realm to the real world. Throughout the exclusive event, visitors will see firsthand the unreal results and surreal flush the Unreal Liquid Blush gives with just one drop. Infused with the brand’s exclusive Unreal Lifting Complex, a unique blend of Hyaluronic Acid and Upcycled White Lupin Seed Extract, the serum-like formula instantly hydrates, and visibly plumps and firms for up to 12 hours.
