Inside Converse’s Co-Branded Activation at Hypegolf Invitational

For the fourth year in a row, Hypegolf Invitational honors the intersection of creativity, golf and fashion with a full-day activation that takes the social sport to new heights. The annual activation took over Huntington Beach, L.A. on June 17 with major on-site moments from Converse, bites from the best spots in SoCal and spirited golf games that sent shockwaves throughout the West Coast and beyond. 

Decked out in golf-inspired duds, guests hit Los Angeles’ Huntington Club from sunset to sundown for a day of sights, sounds, sport and style at the high-energy event. From preppy polos and sporty skorts to sun-shielding caps and summertime sunnies, the attendees showed up and showed out for the Hypegolf Invitational’s 18-hole tournament and co-branded activations. Among the various activations, Converse led the charge with an interactive photo booth pop-up to preserve the memorable moments of the day and spotlight the brand’s latest sneaker.

In between snapping sentimental keepsakes in the photo booth, guests gathered around Converse’s dynamic display of the new Run Star Trainer sneakers, available in summery shades of mustard yellow, bold blues and reds, among others. The suede silhouettes were the stars of the pop-up as attendees stopped to try on Converse’s new collection and accentuate their athletic attire. 

Following a quick ‘fit refresh with Converse, guests continued to explore the grounds of the Hypegolf Invitational, competing with fellow golfers in friendly matches and continuing to foster community over specialty cocktails from Cincoro and ice cream bars by Topgolf. As the evening winded down, attendees gathered in the main outdoor plaza for Cincoro’s Awards Ceremony. Players were presented various prizes for titles including Best Dressed and Tournament Champion.
