I Went Shopping With My 63-Year-Old Mom—We Both Reached for These 2023 Trends

I went shopping with my mom during Black Friday over the holiday weekend. While we’re both heavy online shoppers, we thought we’d venture out to browse and get in on the action. While we certainly have different styles, we often gravitate towards similar pieces and trends. Yes, despite our 29-year age difference (she’s 63 and I’m 34). But given that age really is just a number and has nothing to do with what you should or shouldn’t wear, it’s really no surprise that we like similar pieces.

On our shopping excursion, I noticed that there were actually five specific trends we both agreed on over others. And yes, the trends in question also happen to be looks that will hold strong in 2023.
