While you wait for a January 24 release for $160 USD via Nike SNKRS and select retailers, take a closer look at the Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Year of the Dragon" in the gallery above.

Jordan Brand is getting a jump on the holidays as a glimpse of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG in a "Year of the Dragon" colorway has been revealed.

Joining last year's "Year of the Rabbit" collection, the reptilian-adjacent design celebrates the Chinese New Year. The festive sneakers arrive with a calm and cool "Sail" leather base, contrasting the "Oil Green" overlays, which are detailed with bumpy scales, nodding to the animal of the year. Red and gold are hallmark shades for the occasion and they make their presence known as Swooshes welcome a metallic crimson hue, coordinating with the laces and tongue tag, as well as the embroidered Wings logo on the heel.

A wealthy gold finds itself at the base of the heel, while Nike's branding flaunts the lucky color was well. Silver makes an appearance as well, shining through on the lining and the semi-translucent outsole. A red envelope rests inside of the shoe for an extra touch.

While Nike has yet to confirm the release of the "Year of the Dragon" collection, stay tuned for updates as the sneaker is rumored to arrive on January 24 for $160 USD via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
