This Viral Trend Is Our Favorite Way to Upgrade Neutral Nails for Fall

As much as I love neutral nails for fall, I don't think I'm alone when I say that I like to switch it up from time to time. Enter the internet's new favorite nail look hot off the heels of summer's biggest makeup trend. (Thank you, Hailey Bieber.) Sporting latte nails is a way to upgrade your basic brown or beige for fall while sticking to the same general theme as the makeup trend. You can utilize shades of brown, beige, caramel, and more to create a dreamy seasonal look all your own.

What I love about adopting it for your nails, though, is that there are limitless possibilities. While some may love just color on their nails, others can create designs or spice up their look by combining these shades together. For some inspo, keep scrolling. I'm sharing all the best latte-nail looks that will have you wishing for a sweet and delicious fall treat ASAP.

I know—some of you might be sick of this one, but I can't really write an article about latte nails without including something pumpkin spice themed. This goes beyond your average orange. It requires a creamier shade of orange that would rival the foam on any delicious fall treat. For those who like a darker nail vibe, opt for a burnt orange, or you can go for a milkier shade like the one pictured above. (Psst, it's Olive and June's nail polish in Counselor in Training.)

This mocha brown paired with a lighter French tip is just *chef's kiss.* It's a great way to do something a little more unique for the season without being over-the-top. I used to shy away from darker shades of brown when it came to my nails because I'm also, well, Brown, but this one looks gorgeous on every skin tone.

This take on a French manicure is far from your typical black-and-white nail design. If you really want to commit to the latte theme, you can pair a dark-brown coffee with white for a "flat white" effect. If you just like your coffee *black,* stick to the OG two-toned theme!

My nail artist created this one for me to kick off the fall season. I knew I wanted a rich shade, but turning it into a French manicure with something a little extra felt like the way to go for September. If you want to go the extra mile, try a polish with a bit of shimmer to it.

I love how this look combines a lighter beige with caramel. It's still pretty understated and neutral but looks so cute paired with your favorite seasonal jewelry.

This design is a bit more complex, but I'm saving it for the next time I hit the salon. Mixing two different shades of brown isn't anything new, but this unique take pairs a deep espresso with a silkier chocolate for a latte look like no other.
