Following its team-up with Lazy Oaf back in February, Melissa has returned with another collaborative drop. Together with Paris-based vegan brand Rombaut, the label has reworked the duo's signature footwear silhouettes.

"Our brand is vegan and takes sustainability seriously, our collaborations need to have meaning and set a good example on how to make things better," Rombaut's founder Mats Rombaut shared in a press release. "It took a long time for me to do a collaboration with Rombaut because it’s hard to find big brands that have similar values," he added.

The range features Melissa’s Possession sandal and Rombaut’s Boccaccio sneaker arriving in hues of creamy white, black, marbled green, purple and transparent brown with rice husk pieces. Crafted from 50 percent recycled PVC sourced from factory waste and 30 percent bio-based renewable carbon content, the sneakers boast a melting-like effect while the sandals come in a soft and comfortable fit.

"With this collaboration, Melissa explores its commitment to sustainability while delivering a fun, innovative, and visually striking premium product that will ultimately be accessible and attainable to fashion lovers," Melissa's global brand manager Raquel Scherer commented on the collection. "We are proud and excited about the result we were able to achieve with this project that represents one more step in our sustainability journey."

Priced at $98 USD and $169 USD respectively, the Rombaut x Melissa's Possession sandals and Boccaccio sneakers will be available to shop on March 31 via Melissa and Rombaut's websites, as well as Melissa's stores in New York City, Los Angeles and the UK.
