Champs Sports Spotlights Mia Kang in New Episode of “Her Take” Series

To celebrate the achievements of influential women who defy the status quo and harness style as a tool for self-expression, Champs Sports is profiling these pioneers of change in the form of a video series as part of its “Her Take” Women's Month collection and campaign.  Through this format, the impactful series has shared the stories and style tips of boundary-breaking females such as Skylar Diggins-Smith, Camille Kostek, Aliya Janell, Taylor Rooks and Katelyn Ohashi. For the next installment, the prominent retailer tapped Mia Kang, an international model, TV host and body-positivity activist. 

In the newest episode, the multihyphenate recalls her experience working in the modeling industry, how she overcame an eating disorder, how developing a passion for martial arts allowed her to reconnect with her body and ways she uses her signature sense of style to express herself. “My personal style is simple and comfortable but I want to look really good while doing so,” she says. To complement her fuss-free style philosophy, Mia dresses up her monochromatic outfits by adding a dose of color with brightly-tinged Birkenstock slides fashioned in pink and yellow for an unexpected take on spring dressing.
