1017 ALYX 9SM Readies for Spring and Summer With Technical Mono Slip Shoes

Matthew Williams continues to keep busy with his tenure at Givenchy and 1017 ALYX 9SM. Prepping for the Spring/Summer 2021 season, the designer has crafted a new shoe dubbed the Mono Slip for the tech-focused brand.
First introduced in the label's SS21 collection, the footwear style comes in monochromatic black and white iterations. Boasting a tonal and simple design overall, the shoe features intricate details when examined up close. Technical grooves take over the upper and soles, which are entirely composed of a singular piece of EVA foam. With occasional perforations along the upper, the design is rounded out with 1017 ALYX 9SM's logo embossed on the sides and rear.
