You Might Find Love With Facebook's New Speed-Dating App, Sparked

For those on the lookout for new online dating platforms after trying out apps like Tinder or Bumble, Facebook has you covered. The social media giant is set to launch Sparked, a platform dedicated to speed dating.

Currently in testing stages via browser only, the upcoming app is free to use and does not require public profiles, swiping or DMs. After connecting through their Facebook profiles, users are placed on a waitlist before getting matched with others based on age, location and dating preferences. Sparked pairs participants for a series of four-minute video chats that can be followed up with a 10-minute date if both parties express interest. Afterward, users can exchange contact information and connect elsewhere.

Sparked has yet to launch officially, but stay tuned for more updates from Facebook.
