SZA Officially Drops "I Hate U" Track

Earlier this summer, SZA took to SoundCloud to surprise fans with the release of three new singles -- “I Hate U,” “Joni” and “Nightbird” -- under an anonymous account.
After much anticapation, the R&B songtress has officially released "I Hate U" on all streaming platforms. Produced by ThankGod4Cody and Rob Bisel, the song was originally an exercise piece for SZA, but it turned out to be an infectious tune about heartbreak and yearning for something we can't have. "I just wanted somewhere to dump my thoughts [without] pressure... Y’all made it a thing and I’m not mad," SZA wrote in her Instagram post.
"I Hate U" by SZA is now available to stream on Spotify and Apple Music.
