UPDATE (September 30, 2021): Following the acoustic and Supernova 7 Mix versions of "My Universe," a music video for Coldplay and BTS' collaborative single has now landed on YouTube.

The futuristic, outer space-inspired visual kicks off with a message that reads: "Once upon a time, many years from now... music is forbidden across the spheres. On three different planets, three different bands defy the ban. DJ Lafrique, on her alien radio ship, unites them via holoband. All the while, they are hunted by the silencers."

Starring Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, Will Champion, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, both bands alternate between their real life and holographic versions of themselves as they defy the music ban. Aliens are also seen celebrating their love for the art as Martin and BTS sing the chorus: "You (You), you are (You are) my universe/And I (I) just want (Just want) to put you first/And you (You), you are (You are) my universe/And you make my world light up inside."

ORIGINAL STORY (September 24, 2021): Following last week's teaser, Coldplay and BTS have finally released their collaborative single, "My Universe."

Featuring lyrics in English and Korean, Chris Martin kicks off the track singing, "In the night I lie and look up at you/When the morning comes I watch you rise/There's a paradise they couldn't capture/That bright infinity inside your eyes." The septet continues the first verse in Korean, which roughly translates to, "Every night, I fly to you forgetting that it’s just a dream/I meet you with a smile/Never-ending forever baby."

In addition to the new single, Coldplay's label Parlophone confirmed plans for an official music video, documentary and reworked versions of "My Universe." Coldplay's Inside My Universe documentary will premiere on September 26, while a Supernova 7 mix and an acoustic version of "My Universe" will drop on September 27. The music video has yet to receive a release date.

You can now listen to "My Universe" via all major streaming platforms. The British rock band's new album, Music of the Spheres, will debut on October 15.
