Drake Announces 'Certified Lover Boy' Album Release Date

Last week, Drake momentarily took over ESPN‘s SportsCenter program in the style of a broadcast hack. The Canadian rapper was seen holding a piece of cardboard with a handwritten message, "CLB September 3," hinting at his Certified Lover Boy album release date.
Now, the Grammy Award-winning artist has finally confirmed the record's launch date. Taking to Instagram, Drake posted the album's official artwork designed by British contemporary artist Damien Hirst. The cover features 12 "Pregnant Woman" emojis in different skin tones.
On an episode of OVO Sound 42's Fri Yiy Friday on Sirius XM earlier this month, Drake shared that Certified Lover Boy was complete. "Album’s cooked. Looking forward to delivering it to you," Drake said. "OVO, we aim for the head, we don’t aim to please. Certified Lover Boy on the way, and that’s for anyone in the way."
Certified Lover Boy will drop on September 3 via all major streaming platforms.
