UPDATE (May 9, 2021): Following the initial announcement – which was made via an hour-long video of sizzling sounds of melting butter – HYBE Corporation has unveiled the first teaser for BTS' upcoming single, "Butter."
The seven K-pop group members are spotted wearing white and gray suits, with V donning an all-orange look. Although not much has been revealed regarding the upcoming track itself, HYBE describes it as "a dance pop track brimming with the smooth yet charismatic charm of BTS." The new single will mark the septet's second all-English song.

ORIGINAL STORY (April 26, 2021): BTS fans, rejoice: the K-pop supergroup has announced a new single, "Butter," set to release next month. The septet revealed the news with a tongue-in-cheek YouTube livestream broadcasting the sizzling sounds of a melting block of butter.
A press release describes "Butter" as a "dance pop track brimming with the smooth yet charismatic charm of BTS." The track is BTS' second English-language single, following last year's smash hit "Dynamite." It's been quite the month for BTS -- last week, Louis Vuitton appointed the group as Global Ambassadors and just days prior, McDonald's announced a limited-edition meal created with the K-pop stars.
