GOT the beat -- the K-pop supergroup comprised of SM Entertainment artists BoAGirls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon and HyoyeonRed Velvet‘s Seulgi and Wendy and aespa‘s KARINA and WINTER -- is making their grand comeback after their debut earlier this year.

Reports are suggesting that the music act is set to return with new music in January 2023, which marks their first-year anniversary since their inaugural track titled "Step Back." While SM has yet to confirm any specific release dates as of now, it's believed that the musicians have wrapped up their music video shoot. "GOT the beat is preparing for a January comeback," the K-pop company said in a statement.

Originally launched as a project group, the septet is the first female "supergroup" from SM Entertainment. The company previously recruited SHINee‘s Taemin, EXO‘s Baekhyun and Kai, NCT 127‘s Taeyong and Mark and WayV‘s Ten and Lucas to form the group SuperM, often dubbed the "Avengers of K-pop."

Stay tuned as we learn more about GOT the beat's return.
