Versace's "La Vacanza" Collection Is Back

Versace is connecting with its "oceanic roots" for its latest "La Vacanza" collection, tapping into the Mediterranean mythology that underpins it. Offering pieces that transition from swimwear to leisure and all things in between, the collection features a slew of silhouettes each adorned with new versions of the signature Tresors de la Mer motif.

Lensed by photographer Zoƫ Ghertner, the campaign captures the transition from shore to city, with the new collection shot against backdrops of beach, sun and sand. Spotlighting the new Versace Home range and its inspirations, the "La Vacanza" collection explores themes of archaeological artefacts, ocean preservation and biodiversity.

Favoring transition as a key pillar of its design, the collection offers draped swimsuits which turn into corseted tops, tailored jackets and safety pin gowns. Swimsuits are paired with pleated skirts and bikinis are elevated through translucent cover-ups, while silk shirts transform into blouses and cardigans. Elsewhere, the collection features ocean-inspired embellishments, influenced by the treasures of the sea.
