PUMA and Inside Tag Give the Mostro an Archival Upgrade

If there's one name pushing boundaries in the sneaker game, it's PUMA. The brand's beloved Mostro silhouette, designed by PUMA's Peter Schmidt, has quickly made a name for itself with its futuristic look and laceless design. Now, teaming up with archive sportswear brand Inside Tag, PUMA is revamping the Mostro yet again.

In this partnership, Inside Tag reworks the silhouette and injects it with a honeycomb-inspired design that emphasizes its speedy aesthetic. Dubbed the "Ur Mostro Communication," details like ventilated mesh panels and refined premium leather nod to innovation and heritage. The collaboration introduces two colorways: the "Haute/Coffee" edition, which features a rich brown body with a spiky purple sole and a deep forest green strap. Meanwhile, the "Light Straw" keeps things crisp with a clean white body, a cool grey spiked sole and a bright orange strap for a subtle pop of color.

Beyond aesthetics, the sneaker's design reflects Inside Tag's commitment to research and curation. Key details include aged TPU components that echo vintage athletic gear and an elongated rear heel tab, designed to complement trouser cuffs -- a small but thoughtful detail that sneakerheads will appreciate.

The PUMA x Inside Tag "Ur Mostro Communication" shoe is now available for purchase on Inside Tag's official website.
