Shake Shack is offering free fries for travelers whose flights are canceled or delayed this holiday season. The fast-food giant hopes to minimize stress when it comes to potential flight interruptions by providing free fries at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The "Can't Fly, Have a Fry" campaign aligns with the brand's mission to provide joyful experiences when consumers are in dire need of them. The CMO of Shake Shack, Jay Livingston, said: "We know the holidays can be stressful, so we created this campaign to bring some fan excitement. Our goal is to spread and share joy."

The free fries can be redeemed through one of the chain's locations at the airport, via proof of canceled or delayed flights on mobile phones. For those not traveling from JFK but elsewhere in the U.S., the fries will be provided given they upload a selfie on Instagram in front of their departure gate, and tag Shake Shack's official account. All postponed flights will be eligible for the "Have a Fry" series if they are scheduled from December 22 to 24, while stocks last.
