Tony's Chocolonely Chocolate Bars Permanently Return to the U.S.

Founded in the Netherlands by three journalists in 2005, Tony's Chocolonely is dedicated to shedding light on illegal child labor and modern slavery in the cocoa industry. The Dutch company's mission stems from when the founders first discovered that some of the world’s largest chocolate manufacturers were sourcing their cocoa from unethical plantations.

Previously a limited-edition release in the U.S., Tony's Chocolonely's Sweet Solution chocolate bars are permanently back nationwide. "When we saw how well our fans responded to these bars and their message, we knew we had to incorporate them into our classic rainbow," Tony’s Chocolonely's Chief Marketing Officer Thecla Schaeffer explained in a press release. "So, until our five Sourcing Principles become the norm in the industry, our Sweet Solution bars are here to stay."

Packaged in the brand's signature colorful packing, the bars are available in four flavors: Milk Chocolate With Wafer and Cookie Pieces, Milk Chocolate Cookie Caramel, Milk Chocolate With Hazelnut and Cookie, and Milk Chocolate Honey Almond Nougat. Tony's Chocolonely makes its chocolate 100 percent slave-free and hopes that all chocolate worldwide will be produced using the same practice.
