Out of the numerous K-dramas that have released on Netflix recently, Vincenzo is arguably one of the hottest new shows. A crime rom-com series, Vincenzo portrays the story of Park Joo-hyeong (Song Joongki), a lawyer who works under the moniker Vincenzo Casano in Italy. He later flees to Korea after getting involved in a mafia war, and encounters another lawyer called Hong Cha-young (Jeon Yeo-bin). For those who are enjoying the series and are excited to learn more about the lead actor Song Joongki, below, we've compiled a list of must-watch TV shows and movies starring the celebrity.

For those who are unfamiliar with the actor, Song Joongki rose to fame after starring in the 2010 K-drama Sungkyunkwan Scandal and has since appeared in numerous hit productions. Over the years, the star has become one of the highest-paid actors in Korea, endorsing brands such as Baskin Robbins, Hite Jinro, Sprite and many more.

Sungkyunkwan Scandal (2010)

Sungkyunkwan Scandal was one of Song Joongki's breakout works. The historical drama series, starring the likes of Park Minyoung and Yoo Ah-in, is set in a time when women are not allowed to be educated or employed. The main character Kim Yoon-hee (Park Minyoung) ends up becoming an illegal substitute test-taker to help people enter Sungkyunkwan, the most prestigious educational institute in the Joseon Dynasty. Song Joongki plays the role of Gu Yong-ha, an upperclassman at the organization.

A Werewolf Boy (2012)

This 2012 fantasy romance movie follows the story of a teenage girl (Park Bo-young) and a feral boy (Song Joongki). A much-loved, beautiful tale of love, A Werewolf Boy marked a milestone in Song's career, as it topped box office charts and premiered internationally at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival.

Descendants of the Sun (2016)

Starring Song Joongki, Song Hyekyo, Jin Goo and Kim JiwonDescendants of the Sun was one of the buzziest K-dramas of 2016. It illustrates the love story between Yoo Si-jin (Song Joongki), the captain of a South Korean Special Forces unit, and Kang Mo-yeon (Song Hyekyo), a celebrity doctor. The show, which was aired throughout Asia, led to a spike in tourism in South Korea and Greece. The hit series has even been adapted into Philippine and Vietnamese versions.

Space Sweepers (2021)

One of Netflix's biggest movie releases this year, Space Sweepers topped charts worldwide upon its premiere on the streaming platform. Led by Song Joongki and Kim Taeri, the film is set in a dystopian world where a large corporation aims to build a new home on Mars. The Victory Ship, run by a crew of Korean members, comes across Dorothy, a child robot regarded as a highly dangerous weapon.
