Billie Eilish has recently revealed that she was diagnosed with COVID-19 in early 2021. In an interview with Howard Stern’s Sirius XM radio show, the pop star shares that although she was fully vaccinated, she contracted the virus. She said that the vaccine did not detract “from how miserable it was.”

The “Ocean Eyes” singer added on-air, “It was terrible. I still have side effects. I was sick for, like, two months almost.”

The Grammy-award winning artist warns fans, “I want it to be clear that it is because of the vaccine that I'm fine. I think if I weren’t vaccinated, I would have died because it was bad. When I say it was bad, I more just mean that it felt horrible. But really, in the scheme of COVID, it was not bad. You know what I mean? When you’re sick, you feel horrible.”

Over the weekend, Billie performed on Saturday Night Live, accompanied by her brother Finneas. The 19 year-old singer recently announced the arrival of new music, months after the release of her sophomore album Happier Than Ever.
