UPDATE (December 6, 2021): Taeyang is now the first Big Bang member to become a father, welcoming his baby son with his wife Min Hyo-rin. YG Entertainment confirmed the news earlier today, without providing any additional information as the couple has asked for privacy during this time.
The K-pop artist tied the knot in 2018 with Min, an actor known for roles in movies such as Sunny and Persevere, Goo Hae-Ra.
ORIGINAL STORY (September 28, 2021): Big Bang member Taeyang is expecting his first child with his wife and actor Min Hyo-rin.
According to Hankook Ilbo, Min is in the late stages of her pregnancy and has been spotted by residents of the Hannam-dong area, where the couple resides. A representative of Min's agency confirmed the news with Xports News: "It is true that Min is expecting. They are happily waiting for the baby." The source additionally stated that it is unable to share more information as they wish to remain low profile throughout their pregnancy experience.
The two tied the knot back in 2018, making Taeyang the first member of the K-pop group to be married. They first confirmed their relationship three years prior after linking up on set for Taeyang's music video.
