Cardi B Named Playboy's First-Ever Creative Director in Residence

Playboy has appointed Cardi B as its first-ever Creative Director in Residence. The rapper will be working with the lifestyle brand on fashion and sexual wellness merch, editorials and more.
"It is a dream come true to officially join the Playboy family. I can’t believe this is real. For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt connected to Playboy. It’s truly the original platform for uncensored creativity and I’m inspired by its incredible legacy of fighting for personal freedoms. I have so many ideas already – I can’t wait," the musician spoke of the collaboration. In addition to her main role, Cardi B will also work as the Founding Creative Director of CENTERFOLD, Playboy's new creator-led platform that rivals services like OnlyFans.
The artist further commented on her new role and the upcoming creator-based service, which is scheduled to launch later this month: "Creators today deserve to express themselves freely and unfiltered. They deserve to feel safe in their creativity and sexuality. And they deserve to own their future. This is what CENTERFOLD is all about."
Fans can look forward to co-branded merch drops focused on fashion and sexual wellness, as well as experiential activations put together by Cardi B herself.
